About the speaker: Dr. Dave Wood holds the Martin Chair of Insurance in the Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University. He serves on the national faculty of the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research teaching in the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) program and as education consultant. He previously served as educational consultant for the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) program. Dave led the development of a full major in Risk Management & Insurance in the Jones College of Business at MTSU. In 2020, the A.M. Best Review magazine recognized the Jones College RMI program as the #1 program in the country. Dave worked as an independent agent prior to his career in education. His research interests include risk financing, solvency issues and agency/brokerage operations. He has published extensively in academic and insurance trade journals. Dave has received numerous awards; most recently he was honored to receive the Middle Tennessee CPCU chapter Legacy Award in September, 2022.

Join MYP for our Monthly Professional Development Luncheon at First Bank Mortgage – 2nd floor from 11:30am-12:30pm on Wednesday, February 8th.
There is no cost for attending and bringing your own lunch; however, if you would like a lunch provided from Tasty Table, please pay $10 during registration.
Although registration is encouraged, if you become available at the last minute, please do not hesitate to swing by and join us - there’s always room for more.
